Option Trading Tips – How To Set Alerts On Think or Swim

www.optionsizzle.com I often am asked, “how do you follow so many stocks?” The answer is simple, I set alerts on my trading platform. Many new traders are stuck watching a few stocks anywhere from days to weeks before it does what they are looking for it to do. While that is happening there are a ton of other stocks moving and creating trading opportunities. Here is a cool little option trading tip, you can use going forward. Be able to set multiple alerts on your trading platform and just wait till the alert goes off. This will allow you to be able to track more stocks and have more opportunites to make money. The trading platform I am using is Think or Swim and the neat thing I like to do is not only set it on stocks, but also on different options I am trading. Hope you enjoy and please comment and rate if you found this useful.

Q&A: Apexfutures.com or other Futures Broker recommendation?

Question by Buffet’s Apprentice: Apexfutures.com or other Futures Broker recommendation?
I’m looking to start day trading the es e-minis, so of course I’ll be needing a reliable broker. I’ve come across Apexfutures and their $ 1.50/side commission rate looks very competitive. I’ve also come across NobleTrading.com which also has $ 1.50/side commissions. I wanted to know if anyone had any experience with either, or if their’s a different broker you could recommend to me.

Thanks in advance!

While interactive brokers is $ 2.40 per side, I strongly recommend them. Their trading software, Trader Workstation, is excellent. I have used them for years and have not had a problem. The only drawback is that their customer service is fairly automated.

In December 2008, S&P upgraded them BBB+. I think Apex is not rated. I attach a list of their awards.

The Future of Mobile Marketing

Many Business owners are getting interested in mobile marketing. Why wouldn’t they be? Mobile marketing has a lot of potential in improving business sales.

Traditional marketing is costly and directed toward a general audience. Putting a billboard on a busy highway is not as effective as a mobile campaign in bringing new customers to your business. Why? Because only a small part of your target consumer group would see the ad. You need to have another ad campaign to reach the rest of your consumer population. Other marketing strategies like print ads or TV/Radio commercials are also more expensive and do not reach an audience as wide as a mobile campaign would.

With mobile marketing, you can send various messages anytime of the day to your customers. If they are too busy, they can read your messages at a later time. You can send relevant information that your customers want, whenever they want it.

By sending relevant messages, your customers are given the opportunity to respond to your advertisements immediately. If a customer wants to take advantage of your special promo, they could immediately reply to your message. Media rich content is also a good way of catching your customer’s attention. Using MMS with pictures of your products, music and a short video clip can help make your ads more appealing and interesting. You can also use mobile marketing as a channel for customers to provide suggestions or feedback in order to improve customer experience.

Mobile marketing is cost-effective and efficient in delivering ads to customers. Does your business need a new marketing campaign?  Click here to learn more.

Eh well, you need an internship if you want a hope of getting a full-time grad role in a bank. And trust me, most of the time you’re a middleman. You do market making on behalf of your clients, and depending on where you go, from vanilla equities to the highly structured fixed income products, it becomes more difficult. In essence there are few types, market makers, flow traders and prop traders. The last one is the most glamorous as you’re trading the bank’s own money. But you need plenty of experience to get there and if Obama and Volker have their way, they’re going to cut back on it. All I can say is get an internship anywhere on a specific desk, and do some quantitative finance courses (options theory, credit pricing, etc) or read Hull, and you’ll be in good stead
